Socio-economic impact assessment and adaptive strategies Develop an understanding of the social, economic and public policy consequences of climate change and to develop strategies to adjust to such changes. Ecological Impact Assessment Develop an understanding of how climate changes affect ecosystems and to forecast how oncoming changes in climate will affect agriculture, forestry and wildlife. In turn develop strategies and put into relief policies that will assist in adjusting to these changes. Applied Sciences Develop technology to adapt to the consequences of climate changes. Public Education and Media Outreach Planned, coordinated construction of a complete bridge from scientific research outputs to public education and media inputs. |
