The Western Watersheds Climate Research Collaborative is a non-profit organization established in association with the University of Lethbridge. The mission of this collaborative is to establish a broad scientific basis for understanding and responding to climate related impacts in the Canadian West. In this context it will: - address fundamental questions related to long term water availability and energy issues; - identify, develop and commercialize practical social, economic and technological mitigations and adaptations; - put into relief public policy options that will respond in a positive way to changing climate circumstances.
